Life is beautiful...

That's the first thing that came to mind when I thought of starting a new blog. I like the interface of Blogger better than that of Myspace or Facebook (although I love using those two for networking). Right now, Laura's upstairs and I'm on the couch on her laptop. Annie is to my left (for those of you who didn't know, Annie Darling is the new puppy Laura got me for Christmas!!!). She's the cutest beagle puppy ever, but she sure is stubborn about learning to potty-train. We're still trying to figure out the best way to do it, and yesterday we went to Petsmart and talked to a pet trainer, and we actually signed Annie up for puppy education classes starting on Friday, Jan. 18th (I think... I can be horrible with dates). Those classes will run for about a hour for 8 consecutive weeks, at 6:30. Yeah, I know- classes on Fridays?! Who in their right mind would do that?! But we figured that was better than the Saturday option (weekend getaway, anybody?) or the Sunday night option (rest and relax before the beginning of a new week). The other two nights (Monday nights and Thursday nights) don't work out for us either because we both have work/school on those nights. This is going to be a crazy semester coming up, with all of my classes (both work and school) and Laura's as well, as well as finishing up the condo, and getting closer to the wedding (only about 8 months and 1 week left until we tie the knot- Yay!). Okay, Annie just switched to my right on top of the pillow- cute! Well, I'm off to go to Target to pick up the 4th season of One Tree Hill as a surprise gift for Laura- we're both hooked on that show! I know, talk about a modern soap opera. LoL! I'll come back to you eventually (probably not right away, as old habits are hard to break). Merry belated Christmas to you all, and Happy New Year, and Happy Birthday!!!
